i am planning on doing the converter before summer gets here, and i was thinking 3200, but now i have heard some are running 3600. I need this thing to go like a bat out of he!!. It's NOT daily driven.....i get her out when i just want to blast around town----and to the track.

I am thinking is 3200 going to be too little? What exactly is the difference going to be in the two? Like is the one going to jerk me back and the other sanp my head off......cause i want the one that snaps my head off.:D This is eventually going to have a nu-tek built 396 with an intercooled supercharger.

and have no care of gas milage, Just need it to fly.:D

With all you've said, I'd suggest upwards of 3600... maybe a 3800 or a 4000 even.

If you go with a 3600 make sure you go with a company that will restall it for free, because if you're putting a blown 396 behind it the stall will probably jump up to 4000+.

I second the Vigilante...had mine in the car for almost 8 years with no problems or freshening....3600 stall with the lock up works great for me...best $700 I ever spent...plus 5 SOLID tenths...
