i went to Sacramento Raceway yesterday (02/12) weather was crisp (55ish i think). I got 4 runs in but my first one (arguably the best but oh well we'll never know) didnt show up on the board and didnt print out. Traction was decent and i ran a 14.06@100.45,14.12@100.89,13.99@100.76. Anyways my favorite run was against a lightly modded 02 GT (catted X pipe, exhaust, free mods,k&n, and a removed front headlight and removed back seats) probly didnt have much else.Anyways we ran pretty damn close here are the times:

-------------02 GT-------96 Z28
reaction:---.319---------.157
60':------- 2.259-------2.343
330':------6.163-------6.140
1/8:-------9.276-------9.244
MPH:----79.535------79.847
1000':--11.914------11.881
E.T:-----14.158------14.127
MPH:--100.940----100.890

Oh yeah i dont know the lil details on the Mustang but my car had 3/4 tank of gas full weight w/T-tops (including spare) and i just got around to looking at the build code (i always figured it was fully loaded with all the options) GUESS NOT! GU2= 2.73 gears! So all in all,not bad for a car w/ 110,000 miles on original plugs, wires w/only mods as cut-out (stock exhaust) and Moroso CAI on 2.73's. I might just put the 13.99 in my sig instead of my current time cuz its not the same car it was last year (more wear/older) ad plus, thats LAST YEARS NEWS :D

Nice kill! I find that races that are sooooo close are the best. They keep you right in the action and you never know who will win till the end ;)

With a decent '60ft(2.00 or less) time you could see 13.7's and some better gears wont hurt either BTW nice kill:D

Yeah, I know how that goes, 2.73's are a bummer. I'm looking to remove mine very soon. Nice kill btw, you always gotta appreciate those close races.

yeah im not too sure if 2.00's would be too attainable the way the track was hooking w/ stock sized street tires.w/ 2.00's i should be knockin on 13.6's but i have a feeling that aint gonna happen, maybe if i go on a Saturday when the REAL cars go out for test and tune, the track would probly be better prepped. That race against the mustang made my day though,i basically had em at the light but he pulled a little at the 60' but i gained it back and then we ran even w/me 1 1/2 cars ahead the whole way woohoo.

Oh yeah my last years best was 13.884@100.84

in my defense the best 60' time (that WASNT AWD) on street tires i saw that day was in the 2.1X range. My 60' on my 13.9 run was 2.206. W/ better track prep im sure a better 60' is possible but since it was just a wed. fun drag night (slower than 12.00 ET) they skimped on the VHT,oh well.

pretty good times there with 2.73's. i got similar times with same setup but was cut short before getting a better run(no helmet)i would of gone at least 13.7's or 13.6's if i had my friends street et's. good runs just work on that 60 man!! i got 2.xx on my bald bfg's w/ 24psi. i'm getting a white 94 z28 on monday for 4500 so i guess im back in buisness again:D good luck bro.
