Well this isnt in a F-body, I have a old 1987 chevy 4x4. the truck has one of the old cast iron 4speeds in it, 1st is a creeper. The tranny has never been one that I could shif fast at all, But after I put the new clutch and 330hp crate in it, the tranny is a real pain the butt between gears. The hydraulic cylinder for the clutch went dry wile the engine was out so it needed to have the air purged from it, which I did. I have driven the truck for 7,000mi and it still is hard to shift. Is there a trick in bleeding the cylinders or does mine need a new one? Has anyone ever drove one of these? Did they ever shift well? I bought the truck with 100,000 on it and it has around 200,000 on it now, without a tranny overhaul as far as I know.
Thanks for any help.
