we are haveing a dyno day sat feb 28 starting at 10 am
the price is $45 for 2 pulls w/ wide band...
we need 10 cars + for the price above!!!

Yup count me in then. I want to see if I can get better #'s since the opti was crapped out when it was ran with the lt4 set up.

My roommate may be bringing his '03 z71, I wouldn't put him down for sure just yet, but thought you all would like to know since your getting close to the 10 you needed.

I will have the beast and I want to dyno the new duramax so I will have 2 cars out there.

Cars running like ass right now, but hey im up for it......

If I can get my carburetor rebuilt (any takers? :D ) and figure out how to get my car running on all 8 cylinders for a lengthy period of time, then I'd be game.

I won't know 'til late next week, if not later.

Hey Dustin, I have an Edelbrock 600 CFM unit I'd let go pretty cheap if you didn't want to bother with a rebuild.

That's a HARSH generalization! Most ducks I know have WAY more attention span than you. :p

Cheap is about $100 or so. I think they usually run upwards of $150 used and close to $300 new. Email me if you are interested. I'm not sure if its manual or electric choke, but I can get you that info over the weekend if you like.

Sounds tempting, but let me do a few WOT runs on the street to test my new clutch out(still in break-in period) before I decide to dyno my TA again. If the clutch seems okay I will spray on it once or twice on the street and if the PP stays together then I would also be interested in 2 pulls.:cool:

I understand that point and I am the guy doing the detailing, I will most likely put down the most tourge and Ben will put down the most HP. How about setting up some bets on that.

As for the free zaino? I could understand that if I was getting something from the shop for all of us being there but I am not and zaino is not free. So, I hate to be prude but....$50 gets our car done.

Alright, here is my update. I will most likey not be able to dyno unless you guys offer a more tempting prize, like a hot stripper from Sugars waxing my ... uh car when I win the prize for most torque. :bow:

However, my friend Jared would like to dyno his Supra.

He will gunning for 10xxrwhp. :metal:

I'm not sure how close he will actually get to that mark, which is why he wants to dyno it.

Also, my friend Rusil, who had the blueberry 99 Mustang GT 4.6 wants to try and better his mark of 250rwhp from the last dyno where if that 3rd gen camaro hadn't hit 177rwhp then my buddy Rusil would have been the lowest dyno that day. :barf:

So put us down for two cars. Also, Ryan are you going to assign time slots?

but he is MOVED to the old texas jam location aka teamextreme location aka murillomotorsports

cory is still at bracken location, I have no idea who set this up and who they made the deal with, it is on the scehdule. so i would suggest you call mike monday, or tuesday and find out.

he is going to be very busy monday so be patient

you have nothing to do witht the dyno day, i was informed by someone else about the problem sat. night. you just had to try and start problems here and try to start something or "rub" it in..
BTW your block is not good, i was going to have it magnufluxed but there was no reason too. there is a big crack where the rod hit it ;)

DYNO DAY IS STILL ON!!!
i talked to cory who is running the dyno and it is still on, he is getting there at 8 am and i will be there around that time so we can get all the cars ran

GT40, Show up at the dyno this Saturday, I'm sure there are a few of us that would like to meet you and why your there you can put your car on the dyno. But then again I don't know if you could peddle fast enough to spin up the drums.

I'll bring the burgers. I was all about the BBQ last time but didn't think it was happening so I backed out. I think Lalo ended up buying all the supplies that day :thumb: . So, in an attempt to redeem myself, I've got the burgers (seriously. No really I do. I really really will have them. Whats everybody laughing at) Maybe I'll bring something else to BBQ as well. I thought I recognized that screen name. I'm a relatively new CulbB5 member. I bought my 03 passat about 6 or 7 months ago. I love it. Of course when I need real speed, its just a garage space and one SS away, but the passat is still a hell of a car. My only problem is what little mod money I have is being split in half. And the tax man is taking what I've saved up but thats OT. It'll be good to meet a fellow ClubB5 member. See ya there.

Well, there is a parking lot. Not neccessarily "big", but decent sized. And of course thats where the BBQ is happening (not going to lite up the grill in the shop). The thing is most people hang out inside and right outside the shop. I wonder if we put the beer and a few chairs on the other side of the property line and drink over there if we could get away with it. :D :D

YES! I've been waiting to get an intial dyno reading for awhile now. I need to see where I stand as the new (GT28RS) turbo is going in in a few months.

Guinness? That is dark, I will drink Shiner Bock every now and then, but Guinness is pretty damn dark.

Here is my first post on this board, been a member for awhile but just read about other cars. Just wondering is it to late to sign up now, i have not do that much to my 2001 Z28 installed a cat back, y-pipe(could not stand the stock one), a lid and a SLP MAF. Plan on getting some LT's headers and then maybe doing head's and cam's next. Want to do before and after. See you there if it is not too late.:D

Go ahead and come on down, the more the merrier. We usually have people that cancel at the last minute so it's cool. See you there...
