ok heres what im working with; pioneer 3600 reciever, rockford fosgate model 4306 front speakers, and 2206 sail panel speakers (used as stock replacements not looking for components or anything). my current combo sounds a whole lot better than stock but i crave that extra thump. im not lookin to be the loudest car on the block but i wanna be heard comin. i decided on a subthump 10'' sub box, but dont really know how to match a sub/amp. i have a profile 600 watt mono amp (given to me with nothin to power it on), and was lookin to get a 10'' sub that'll work well with it (if its any good). any suggestions on sub/amp combos, i dont have to use the amp i already have?

You could always get a Rockford HE2 10" or a JL 10W3. Not too expensive at all. btw, when you get the $$ junk the Profile amp. Profile is all garbage :p

thats weird b/c ive heard several times that profile is a good bang for the buck amp that is decent in mild thumping applications?

what would be the ideal amp to go with a 10'' Rockford HE2 and stealthbox?

Profile amps aren't that bad. I had one and i loved it equally as my DEI 1100d.

I'd just save some cash and use the amp you have now. Pair it to a Alpine Type-S. Sounds damn nice in the stealth. You can find them for like $70 brand new off Ebay.
