Whatever happened to the gtg's at Richardson Sonic?

The one at Richardson Square mall?

Went to one and then poof! no more............

No one shows up anymore cause they're all too scared cause their cars are too slow!!!! hahahaha

I'd be there if only I wasn't 3 hours away at school.:cry: :thumb:

Less people were there, so soem wanted to change the day, that's the last I heard. We need to have another one soon....

I went to them a few times this summer. Got lots of races the 1st time out but none after that. I wonder why :death:

If you guys can come up with a day, I am definatley in. I might be out there to get dynoed again after I get my car tuned. So let me know if you come up with anything.

Anyone know the 2 guy's w/ LT1's that have stickers all over them? I think one's a red TA and the other is black.

I went out there with the white Z, had the 16" red numbers.....

I just got finished dropping in a 383 stroker.
Removed all the BMR suspension and replaced with G2 stuff
Z06 brakes waiting for motor break in.
Besides the Hooker lt's, custom y-pipe, and Canton oil pan, hv pump, BBK 58 mm throttlebody, custom ground cam- solid billet steel 230/236/112/.570/.560

I pulled the motor, stripped it down to the long block and sat at Kim Barr's watching them do their stuff.
Got my heads flowing 296 intake, 212 exhaust.....
Got to touch every part in her, inspected it all, they didn't mind at all......
They did a great job!

Were they good to work with? Did you order the rotating assembly or did they recommend a package based on your rwhp/performance goals? Costs? Time frame? You can email or pm me w/ responses so I'm not interfering w/ the original topic.

BTW, what night would these GTG's be? 1 vote here for Fri night.

we should do it on Fridays at a local car wash, that way we could clean our cars and hang out. We wouldn't have to worry about revving our engines or anything at a car wash. we could try and plan it for next friday and then head out to the Texas Motorplex for opening day or should i say night. Who would be willing????;)
