kinda stupid but........95camaro3400 02-07-2004, 05:23 AM will a 95 3.4 catch 3rd with stock clutch and engine? thx oil pan 4 02-07-2004, 07:38 AM I could chirp 3rd kinda hard in my 85 camaro back when I had a POS S-10 long block swaped in there. But I have 3.42' and use to have a open diff too. It was on dry pavement during summer with 205mm tires. viper98885 02-15-2004, 06:59 AM It all depends on the car's mods, tires, surface conditions, etc. There are a lot of factors in getting the tires to chirp that have to be taken into account. 97QuasarBlue3.8 02-15-2004, 11:26 PM I doubt it. I can bark the tires pretty hard in second, but in 3rd, even with the 3.8 it won't do it. oil pan 4 02-16-2004, 01:19 AM I was trying to kill that engine when I did it, also I had a brand new clutch with about 10 miles on it. If your rolling 20mph and revv your engie up to 5800 rpm's and pop the clutch ( I let my foot slip off the side of the petel when it was fully depressed and it sprung back as fast as the pressur pate could push it) at wide open throrrle your car will do it. I had open 3.42's (back then) and a 2.75:1 3rd gear. I don't think too many people do that unless they want to blow there engine, I was realy trying to break that engine. | ||
