How much is too much nitrous for me?

with ported stock iron l98 heads, and a cr of 10.5:1, what would bet he highest shot you'd run on 93 octane?

You're talking about a maximum amount of nitrous and "getting away" with as little octane as possible or something?:)

You're askin for trouble with that kind of thinking I believe but here's a thought. 94 octane pump gas in a 305 cube engine with a 150 shot. Once I loaded the engine enough by locking the TQ converter in third gear, 4 spark plugs blistered, melted, and then were vaporized pretty much within a second or two.

Lesson learned...Add octane, don't be so aggressive with the timimg advance:)

People "get away" with a 100 shot all the time on pump gas. Goodluck.

yeah, i was planning on using really high octane, but i just dont know how much is too much octane, lol
