Suggestion for a new forum

I know this is a long shot, but is there a chance for a forum for politics, religion etc and other topics generally not wanted or welcome in the lounge? I have seen forums like this on other boards and it seems to clear up the lounges quite a bit. Maybe something that a person has to register for to get in to keep some of the trolls out. This way people know what they are getting into and the lounge stays a bit more civil. It's just one of my thoughts as some people in the lounge can't keep it civil anymore, one of the reasons I stopped posting in political threads.

Nope. Not a chance.
It's not that we don't want it in the Lounge, we don't want it here, period. There are MUCH better places to go to talk about that stuff. We wouldn't want to create a forum to encourage it. That is asking for more problems, and I think you will agree the problems are big enough.
