Post Which color wire yellow or black is positive for 93-97 Camaro headlight bulbs?

I am installing a 9006 6000K HID conversion kit on my 97 30th Z28 and before I fire these headlights up for the first time I just wanna be 100% sure that I got it wired correctly. I know black is usually negative and red or whatever other color is positive but I have seen this not true in some cases. Can anyone please confirm this for me?
thanks in advance

The yellow wire is in fact the positive, and the black (or brown) looking is the negative (ground). I hope you at least got a good glass housing with that kit.
