speak up quick, as soon (as in most likely this weekend) the car is going back to stock. current mods are:

cutout
hooker longtube headers
K&N FIPK cold air intake
hooker exhaust
firebird 5 spoke wheels

after its back to stock it'll only have the hooker catback and firebird rims. the longtubes, y-pipe, and FIPK are comming off the car in preperation to be traded in at the dealer.

its a hawaii car, purchased by someone before me in hawaii and then shipped over to maitland. i picked it up after that.

dealer says they'll give me 4k for it, so beat them and its yours. located in the UCF area.

one notice, to make my conscience clean... this car may or may not be putting small amounts of metal into the oil. rest of the car is fine however, tranny shifts like a bat out of hell.

if/when it goes back to stock i'm looking to sell the longtubes, y-pipe, o2 exensions for 500 bucks

longtubes are hooker jethot coated and havn't ever been scraped. the y-pipe has been pre-clearanced

actually the y-pipe is mufflex 4" and has been massaged by a local exhaust shop so that it'll fit an f-body without problems. it fits my car without hitting the ground or the floorboards. its got a 4" to 3" reducer on it right now but that can be cut off.

last night we took the longtubes and y-pipe off and put all the emissions equipment back on it. figured out it had a nasty header gasket leak from the longtubes and so now the thing runs better than before and sounds exactly as it should, no wierd noises from the leaky gasket anymore.

kelly bluebook value of my car just about $6,000 even for private party value. i'm not expecting to get $6k.

if you email me we can work something out

Yea jason.....never ended up using your old LT's....They are being put to good use though...they actually went our "club" race car so to speak. Brent tucker's 1994 Z, ATI procharged CMS 383, loyld elliot fully race ported heads...its going to be bad! We are about to finish it up and will be hitting the track with it soon.
keep a look out.

actually, the more i do research on it the more i'm thinking my car is most likely fine... good oil pressure, and the metal flakes could have been from when i started the car without a throttle body on it by accident (don't ask) ...

but reguardless, its getting sold, as i want an LS1 for the better engine, newer car, better interior, and better stereo.

car is going into autotrader tonight or tomorrow.

tell you the truth... I was thinking the same thing. I thought you were overreacting a bit on the whole thing... personally if I were you I would sit and wait for a nice car to come around.... like a month or so...

Your alot less picky then I was, I wanted 6-speed and t-tops, and ended up with a 5-speed hardtop v6 but the deal was too good. Car is still worth more then I paid for it since I bought it...

And oddly enough the only time I feel any regrets, is usually around Stangs, they left a impressions on me after some test drives...
