Keep an eye on McNamara Pontiac. They always have a good selection of GM muscle.

What's wrong with your car?

what happened get spanked by an LS1?

Or just want a ewer car...

Just to warn you they are gonna be pricey I looked everywhere for a good deal, found some good deals for LS1s... but not what a average college student woudl consider a good deal, and to tell you the truth most people consider me to have more money then the average college student...

So hence my v6

Good luck on your search.

That Carmax deal is a joke. Avereage condition trade-in value...

But if you're just looking to unload it quick I guess it would do.

There is still a 2000 SS convertible for sale over by Chickasaw and Lk Underhill for around 17,000 or so. He doesn't have it listed anywhere. It just sits in front of his grandmother's house. I mow their neighbor's grass and it's always there. He's been trying to sell it for over 6 months now.

It's silver with a black top, leather and 6 speed. He wasn't a car nut either so no dragstrips, mods or general torture. He said that he got a huge discount on it because his dad worked for GM otherwise he would have got something cheaper. He's tired of it and wants something different. Talk about a motivated seller...

Anyway, I always post it up whenever anybody is looking for an LS1 but nobody wants a vert. I can't figure that one out.

Heres a couple I found on autotrader that are decent deals-not really sure what your looking for though (t tops, manual/auto, etc)

2000 Z28, auto, t-tops, 33k miles for $12,500 (silver)

1999 Z w/54k miles, auto, black, t-tops for $10k

what i'm specifically looking for is:
t-tops
below 55k miles
100% stock, right down to paper air filter
good condition paint and interior
power windows / door locks

doesn't matter about leather, tint, color for the most part, a4 or manual (pref manual of course).

spending limit is roughly 14k right now... thats considering i get 3k for trade-in on my current car.

this weekend its going back to stock so that its legal to sell to a dealer (no cats on it right now)

Damn, too bad I owe just alittle more than you are looking to spend.
Mine is pretty stock with just a lid, shifter, shift handle, lowered.
Still have the stock springs.
Black, t-tops, 6speed, leather, CD, SS wheels F1 tires that are new, 53K miles.
Car is in excellent shape. Never been on the track and very clean.
I tried to trade it. What a joke. I was offered nothing. I mean nothing.
I need a truck bad, but Im rebuilding my old one before I get screwed over.

If it means anything to you now, soon very soon within the next few months I will be selling my 99 Ta. It has 36k miles, car is immaculate. Has only two bolt ons, I could revert to stock very easily... I'm looking for 14k for it. car is fully loaded... if you want any info on it please email me.

I am selling my bone stock 99 T/A in the auto trader right now for $12,000. It's mint condition, leather, t-tops, etc... We could work a trade out, e-mail me if interested (I am not on the board much).

Was looking around for a car myself and found this-looks pretty good to me:

1999 Black Trans Am, t-tops, 6 speed, grey leather, 25k miles for $13,500

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...r=&cardist=167

I'm actually thinking about talking to the guy and picking it up myself-but in case I dont I thought I would pass it along

that car looks very nice, except its 3 hours away

i actually found a 1999 camaro SS, black, 6 speed, t-tops, leather, electric everything, loaded basically with 48k miles for $13.5k ... i'd own it right now if it was in good condition except for the fact that its in jacksonville, 2.5 hours away
