Opinions on what Amp to use
Opinions on what Amp to use
Hey all,
Haven't posted much in this section, but I was looking for some opinions, since I will be getting a new amp come spring time.
Right now I have 2 Image Dynamic 10" V.3 subs in a Jensen 4-port enclosed box with a plexiglass shield. The subs were previously powered by a Pioneer 2-Ch 760 Watt amp (Obviously, quite a crappy amp
)
I wanna step up the power to the subs a little bit, since they can handle so much more, and they are pretty high quality. What amp should I go with that will really show off their power and clarity? Obviously it needs to be 2-channel. BTW, I'm using a new style Sony Explod head unit with 2 RCA.
Thanx for the opinions guys

There's really no need to run subwoofers in stereo. Especially in a car. What impedance are your subwoofers? If they are 4ohms each you could connect them in parallel for a 2ohm load and power then with a mono subwoofer amp.
