What did you run on your stock bottom end?

I am curious what people are running on a stock bottom end with between 4.5-8 psi of boost in the quarter mile. I am just curious what I might be able to expect from my car.

Well, with my crappy tune, I was seeing between 12.1x and 13.3x and averaging about 116 with one of those meters you stick to the windshield. Gtech I think? Anyway, I'm hoping for better results when I get the new DFI installed and working. :)

Oh, my boost gauge was reading 7 psi @ 5600 rpm and my EGT was reading about 880 degrees (way fat). And I was using street tires, so alot of smoke was in the air. :D

I would say you will see anywhere from 12.0's to 12.6's. It depends on whether or not your can hook.

Looks like you're going to need that 12 lb. pulley Patrick if you want to compete. ;)

12.3x @ 117, stock longblock & converter, P600B @ 8#

The best I got my Z to run on the stock block / heads was 11.81 @ 116.50 with a P600B 8#

It made 405 / 418 at the wheels.

Depending on whether I can hook at all I can get between 12.2 and 12.8 at an avg 112mph. According to my boost gauge when I dynoed it last fall I was making 12#. This scares me, but I don't torture my car all the time (I know, then why own it??. But when you start accumulating tickets, you start taking it easy on the street) :cool: not bad numbers for a basically stock 305:D BTW this current set-up may be a time bomb, but it has lasted 10k mi so far and if/when it goes, it'll give an excuse to go mental on a new set-up:cool:
