hey just curious how long a tread life anyone who has used them solely for street use got out of them?

i drive pretty conservatively and put
5000k on them, used 1/32n of the tread.

I sold them cause they were too sticky for
the crappy PA roads. Got the KDWS and
used 5/32 after 5000K

Just goes to show what BS that tire wear
rating is.

Wow, thanks for the input, anyone else used them?

It was actually hard to bark the tires with them.
Never really tried it w/o the ASR on, like I said
I don't really get on my car too hard.

Just be warned that if your roads aren't smooth
they can be a pain. They stick to everything.
When I first got the car I had to aligned twice.
It was the tires grabbing all the cracks and grooves.
The 275's didn't help much either.

If your roads are nice though they would be sweet.

Have the KDWS and the only hard driving they have seen is through the canyons (I do go quite often), they are about ready for a change w/ 25K miles on them :)

The roads here are nicely paved roads, I avoid cracks and whatnot, so you had 315 in the front as well, didnt realize they would need to be realigned more often?

...I just read {on an LT1 post} that Cosco has BFG KDW's for $135 installed. Don't know if its true or not {that sounds WAY to cheap} but you might check.... Bill...
