Hmmm, I'm begining to think 108,000 miles is a bit much for my stock shocks...

For those springs I would use the Bilstein HD's at minimum, or call Sam Strano and get a custom valved set of Bilsteins (best option short of Koni's).

bought my car at 106xxx miles. put Koni Single Adjustables on at 108xxx miles. By far the best mod I've done to this car (I've done other stuff since). Everybody says the stock shocks are crap. well, with 106xxx miles they are even worse.

Just an FYI about shocks.
About 5+ years ago I read a magazine article in Consumer Reports about shocks. They said all car manufacturers, including Japanese cars, cut corners on shocks. In short, the average factory equipment shock has a life expectancy of 25K miles.

I am with Chuck on this... I just put on G2 springs with Biltein HD's a couple of months ago and they work great together.

Well, I got a quote for $299 for a set of HD's from shox.com.

Is that the best price for those shocks, as well as bang for buck in shock value?

Thanks guys!
