I think I recall 12.1" rotors being used on C4 wheels, but don't take my word for it of course. Soma07 06-25-2002, 03:22 AM LS1/98+ brakes are the biggest that will fit under stock wheels. They are 11.9" rotors I believe. I'm running them on stock 16" Pontiac 5 spokes and the caliper barely clears. I'd like C5 brakes but then I'd have to buy 17" wheels and tires. I plan on road racing in my car for fun-could I get by on LS1 brakes or am I better off just waiting and getting the C5 kit? Does anybody think the Baer sport kit (pbr 2 piston caliper 12" rotors) is more effective than the LS1 setup? The problem is usually that the spare doesn't fit .
