better springs?

Hey guys,

Right now my car is lowered with hotchkis 1-1.5" lowering springs and sits on KYB adjustable shocks. I havent been happy with the KYB shocks and I finally bought some Koni double adjustable shocks. I was wondering if anyone knew of a spring that would be better to use with the Koni's. I don't want anything that rides terribly tough but I obviously want to be able to corner well. Thanks in advance.

Is this just for the street? No autocross or track?

Have you considered a coil over suspension in the front? It gives you a lot of choices for spring rates and ride height adjustments.

Sam Strano has front coil overs and springs for $224 or front and rear for $419. He can recommend to you the best spring rate for what your intended purpose is.

Thanks for the reply. I do autocross the car a lot. But I also do some road racing and drag racing with it as well. I don't drive it on the street near as much as a used to. Easily less than 5000 miles a year.

I'll look into Strano, see what they recommend.

For those of you with Eibach springs, I was wondering how you liked them and they're driveability.

I use to have Eibach Sportlines (still have them if you want them!), the car looked great with them but I didn't have enough shock, you will. They are a fixed rate spring (360lbs in front) and a progressive rate (80-137 lbs) in the rear. The Pro springs are progressive with a rate of 377-600 in the front and 94-160 in the rear. They aren't quite as low as the Sportlines but are a stiffer spring.
