Is it possible to edit my vehicle using a cable that worked for my thirdgen?Pasky 01-16-2004, 03:22 AM I have a cable that works on my 91 RS that I used for diagnostic software, but now I have a 95 Trans am LT1 and T-56 sitting in my garage that is about to be implanted into it along with a 95 PCM. My question is can I use my old cable with the new PCM and use tunercat to tune my vehicle? Thanks. There is no risk. The cable will work. The cable will work on any OBD1 PCM from GM, years 85-95. The only question you will have is whether or not it will work with the software you plan on running.
