AFR Hydra Rev Users
Has anyone had luck using one of these?,did the motor Rev higher or make more power up top?,any Dyno or track times before & after?im thinking of going to a Solid Roller but this looks like it might be an alternative to that

ARE YOU ON CRACK
no just confused the rev kit has been around since the 70's the only thing it will do is aid you in a situation where you dont have enough spring pressure it does nothing but give support. it will make no power at all the claims you hear are from guys with weak springs that add it and gain back what they lost

you can use the hydra Rev kit to keep your valve spring psi down since the spring is actually pushing on the lifter body itself, your not having to use massive power robbing springs or heavy push rods. It also alows you to run hydralic lifters on large cams without collapsing the lifter due to the massive spring psi that it takes to control the valvetrain weight, especially at higher rpms! (solid lifters suck, valve adjustments every oil change isnt for me!)
Yes they work, and are recommended by knowledgable machine shops and engine builders.
As for the 100hp claim, I think what they meant by that was it keeps 100hp longer before it starts rapidly dropping off.
