Huntsville, AL -here I come...again

Heya folks! I'll be back in good ole Huntsville for business again in July. I'll be in town Sun July 14th - Fri July 19th. I'm staying at the Fairfield Inn off of University (is this area any good).

A lot of hotels were booked for this week - is there something going on in Huntsville during this week?

cool. i live there. the fairfield is nice and new, but i haven't been there. the only event going on that i know are at the local clubs. other than that i am not really sure.

The only big event I know of at that time is the Dwight Yoakam(country singer) on the 24th. But that's probably not the reason for the hotel bookings.

its great t-top weather. lately the sun has been out and we haven't seen rain in about a week. although i haven't been keeping up with the weather too much lately i think that it has been around 80 degrees on average. all in all, the weather has been great. oh, if you stick around to til the 22 or the 24 (i'm not sure) tommy lee is supposed to have a concert at the Von Braun Center. Kid Rock was here about a week and a half ago.

that weather was terrible. it even caught me off guard today. that rain at around 1 or 2 pm wet the interior of my car! i rode w/ the tops off earlier and the rain snuck up on me (in the parking lot at work). didn't mess anything up though.

No, I didn't drive here. I flew in from Detroit - but since there are no direct flights into Huntsville from Detroit, I have to fly to Memphis - then to Huntsville.

I found the Movie Theatre yesterday behind the Madison Mall and saw Road to Perdition - that was awesome.
