ehhh my last car went 10 years, 130,000 miles... Motor ran like a top the day I sold it. Guy fixed the brakes, and threw some tires on it, and drives it once a week or so... Jsut fixed some of chips and scrathces from over the years and slapped a new coat of paint on.... That car is now currently track worthy, and capable of pulling 15.6s all day right now, and threw no codes.

And I treat my current car much better then I ever did that last one... I know I am rough on the drivetrain, but I would rather dish out the money to fix that then not enjoy my car

hey mustangeater...since you've "got alot of practice on a 5spd", how exactly do you get such good starts...granted i havent driven mine for too long and its been basically wet here ever since i got it...but i cant seem to get good starts without burnin rubber all through first gear.

Best wya I can say is rev it up to 3000-3500, then sourt of feather the clutch out quickly...

Thats what I am working at doing, still pretty fresh I ahve only had the car since late November... and only 3 trips to the track...

yeah, i've had my car since like mid sept. but the weather since then has been pretty wet, so its been hard to get a chance to practice anything. i'll keep that in mind though and practice when i get the chance...as for the LSD, dont quite got the money for that...but if i ever did plan to go ALL out on my car, THEN i'd look into it.

it's only ~$100 + install. if you install yourself there are guides all over this board. if you get it installed it can be $200+

either way its not that bad money-wise.
