The header flanges will be replaced with some 1/2 thick one's. The drivers side will need to be Tig'ed yet. The Pass side will need to be finished, we have 1 primary on it, but we may need to get the turbo sitting alittle more parallel to the ground, It's at an angle.
We are using the stock accessory bracket with Alt, P/S and tensioner. We will need a 1LE pulley, and have to modify that to get the downpipe in there.
AC compressor is deleted, and Battery will be relocated to the trunk. The power steering lines will also be needed to be relocated, but shouldn't be to hard to do.
Me and a friend are building 2 identical systems, his car was the first we started on, but mine will be similar, I just have different turbo's.
Let me know what you think

I'm running 2 precision SC-61's. They have .68 A/R Tangential turbine housing, as well as V-band clamp outlets.

Well for now it will be my same old 355. I run AFR 190 heads and a 224/220 .544/.544 114LSA cam, Speed Pro Forged -22cc pistons, stock crank and rods with ARP bolts. I don't plan on taking this combo over 600 Hp. After the Turbo's are finished I will be pick up a LT1 block, and have it machined .030 over and for splayed main caps. I'm planning a 383 with forged JE extreme duty -31cc pistons, and eagle forged crank, and either forged eagle H-beam rods or Oliver Billet rods. Then I will have everything ballenced. Once the motor is done, It only takes a weekend to swap in the new one.

Follow the link to the 2-12-04 update. I finished welding my pass side header today. The Drivers side will commence as soon as I get that damn dowl out of the head (It somehow jammed in there flush!!) It only took about an hour and a half to make the header, but many more hours TIG welding it up! Turbo sits right where the battery was, and this header sneaks along the side of the accessory bracket. Creative modification of a 1LE Bracket will allow use of a 3" downpipe as well.
Pics are MUCH clearer than the last one's (got a new camara, so no video capture photo's). I'll get some in car pics as time goes on

Looks good! Is that stainless on the tubes and carbon steel for the flanges?

Bill, nice to see the project coming along:) Are you going to try and utilize the factory surpentine setup?
Do you plan on joining the hot rod power tour this year? A few of us are starting in Iowa and ending with the rest in Milwakee.

Yes I'm going to use the factory belt. By using the 1LE Bracket and flipping it around, you can remove alot of the triangle moving the pulley in, and keeping it off of the powersteering pulley. Thats the plan anyway. I held everything in place and it looked like it will work, If not I will make a custom pulley bracket.
I didn't know about the power tour was coming this close. Anymore info on it? I bet a few of my friends would love to make it, I would as well!
