Sounds great too. Are there any downfalls that you have now that you are running that eaton, such as not having windshield wipers or something, from cutting up the cowl Alvin@pcmforless.com 01-11-2004, 10:20 PM eh, not really It still has windshield washers and everything. Everything works like its supposed to. BTW. thats without the alcohol turned on. the blower was getting warm after 4 pulls like that. blackz6sp 01-12-2004, 08:06 PM Any pics or any other vids of the car? Sounds sweet.. Shawn Alvin@pcmforless.com 01-12-2004, 08:09 PM http://community.webshots.com/user/apanderson101 SantaCruz163 01-13-2004, 12:30 PM What is that guage we are looking at, and what do the numbers mean? You see how it pins the guy to the seat?! Damn:bow: Alvin@pcmforless.com 01-13-2004, 01:31 PM the one in the AC vent is boost and its sitting on 9psi.. sometimes it hits 10 but heat gets back down to 9. SantaCruz163 01-13-2004, 02:02 PM I'm talking about the gauge that the guy is holding in his hand. Arctic_White_WS6 01-13-2004, 02:31 PM That's an AFR gauge. Alvin@pcmforless.com 01-13-2004, 04:30 PM Yeah i should really spend more time on tuning it.. I've tuned it a little more here lately to around a 11.7 or so. Just trying to keep things safe. 9-10lbs of boost, non intercooled, with 9:1 pistons is kinda wild for pump gas.. especially with a eaton. Highlander 01-13-2004, 11:14 PM linky no worky Alvin@pcmforless.com 01-13-2004, 11:30 PM yes it does.. get quicktime Highlander 01-13-2004, 11:31 PM I have quicktime.. will try again josherSS 01-14-2004, 12:24 AM just curious, why a roots? did you have an extra laying around the house or what? different, but cool;) D James 01-14-2004, 02:00 AM Originally posted by josherSS just curious, why a roots? did you have an extra laying around the house or what? different, but cool;) I can't speak for Rooster, but I would love to have one. Instant full boost is enough reason for me, no boost drop between gears, awesome torque numbers, no oil changes required for 100,000 miles on this self contained unit. I'm sure there's more reasons but these are some to name a few. If I'm not mistaken he did this at a very cheap price. The only disadvantage(if you want to call it that) is having to upgrade to a 12 bolt to hook up all that torque SantaCruz163 01-14-2004, 09:19 AM Where did you find that setup? Show some engine pics, i'm curious to see how the setup looks. Alvin@pcmforless.com 01-14-2004, 09:35 AM I built/ designed it Look at that other link for pictures | ||
