Hey guys, just a heads up. This doesn't apply directly to F-bodies...yet. My buddies Civic was parked in a complex near Dean & Aloma and had the wheels, seats, and spoiler ripped off in plain sight parked very close to the entrance in a well lit area. I called a buddy on Orange County and he said it's very quickly becoming a problem specific to imports "for now." From the evidence, or lack there of, there's somebody taking "orders" from people who want custom parts. They go out and steal'em and then offer the people an irresistable price. I know some of you have import owning friends and I'm afraid it's only a matter of time before SS hoods, wheels, and spoilers end up on their "purchase list."

Here's the cars in the most danger as of now:
'00-'02 Civic EXs
Late model Celicas w/ the optional factory ground effects
Acuras w/ aluminum wheels that fit the Civic/Accords

Just wanted to put a warning out to anyone in the area.

Ricer shops in this town seem to be selling and buying stolen stuff in spades. When I went to order my steering wheel down the street, there was a guy in the shop talking to the owner about selling him stolen stereo stuff. The owner then called someone on the phone asking if he could move the stereo. They were speaking in spanish thinking this white boy couldn't understand what they were saying. I was sickened by the event. I never did anything about it but walk out of the shop, and they knew I understood because I just shook my head and walked out. Maybe I should report them. If there is one thing I can't stand its thieves. If I caught someone stealing stuff from my car, I would be tempted to shoot them if there weren't any witnesses. I am sick of having stuff stolen out of my car.

what up Madkilla? Long time no hear. If I were you I'd report it, but that's your own call.

It's not just the ricer shops that have offers to buy stolen stuff. A guy called me from Sanford about 2 weeks ago offering me a set of 18X9.5" Boyds w/ good BFGS on them for $600. Not wanting to end up in possession of stolen goods I told him that I'd buy them when I saw a receipt for the wheels & tires. He gave me some tired story about trying to sell them for a friend who really needed some cash. I still told him no prob, just get your friend to get the reciept....That led to a sob story about how the friends house burned down and he lost everything so he didn't have the reciept. So then I told him to have his buddy call Boyd and mail out another copy of the charge.....or whoever he bought them from to. He tripped up his story again so I told him to forget it and that I'd be turning the number he was calling me from over to the proper authorities as well as a description of the wheels he was trying to sell me. He told me to Fark off and hung up.

I guess I should unbolt my APC tri-level spoiler, but perhaps somebody will steal my scratched, de****tive rims
