From autoextremist.com

GM all but confirmed during the 2004 Detroit Auto Show that they are working on an ultra-luxury flagship sedan for Cadillac that will be powered by a V-12 and will cost around $100,000.

Anyone know anything about this?

I think it'd be fantastic if it were Cien, my favorite concept car in years!!!

But, I think it is more likely something along the lines of the Cadillac Sixteen concept, unfortunately.

Or... perhaps the reference is to an STS-V?

Cien is definitely not a sedan, so I'm thinking a totally new car. If it really costs around $100,000 that's about double the price of the STS and Deville, which leads me to believe it wouldn't be based on either of those.

I'd think if the Cien comes to market it'll be more than $100k, considering the XLR in the mid $70k's. Perhaps this is the car Guion stated will be a full size but will not replace the DTS?

If it even came to market a little less radical than it appeared in its concept form, I would bet it would cost around at least $200K. That really doesn't seem to make sense for Cadillac yet though...

Really?

I was rather hoping for some sort of adaptation of the "Sixteen".

Maybe the Fleetwood or Sixteen-like vehicle. Large, (bigger than the STS), rwd.................I'm not too sure how they could make it that much different than the DTS unless they made it an ulta-luxury vehicle for more than 100k+. I'd still rather see the Cien though.
