New 383 parts for sale

A friend of mine was going to build a 383 LT1 this winter but went with an already assembled stroker instead.

He has these parts for sale.

Callies Crankshaft - Dragonslayer - 4340
Manley Forged Steel rods
JE pistons - for nitrous ( approx 11.0 to1)

The above complete - $2750.00 cdn

Airflow cylinder heads - their top of the line Part number 1039 - $2850.00 cdn- These are fully CNC ported.

Competition Camshaft - part number - 07-000-8 -
520/540 lift - 236/242 duration at .050 - Lobe seperation 113.0 -
$300 cdn

None of the above parts were installed.

EDIT: Part number for AFR heads is 1039 not 1009.

How do i know how much the parts are in us currency? Is there smog testing in canada? im interested in the cam but dont want it, if it is a cam that wont let me pass smog testing.

what are the specs on the heads, is the rotating assembly balanced, what are the prices of each in US funds

As a general factor at this time using the current exchange rate as rough guideline I would try dividing the price by 1.35 and that should be very close to the currant US$$ price. This is just a guideline check for the exact exchange rate before you agree to a deal. good luck

I don't know if the cam is smog legal. We don't have emmissions testing.

Exchange rate on any given day here: http://www.bankofcanada.ca/en/exchform.htm

Plug in the Canadian amount and select u.s. then Convert.

Thanks, but you didnt answer my questions, is the rotating assembly balanced, brand new and ready to go, etc, and give me some more info on the heads

I think that cam has a chance in passing emissions with 113lsa & its XE grind, if it was regular grind like even cc306 I would say no way in hell, or gm847 I say no way in hell, but having had the xe236/242 I think it has a chance

The rotating assembly is rough balanced. It needs to be final balanced.
