2004 Ford Shelby ConceptGripenfelter 01-06-2004, 10:15 AM http://www.fast-autos.net/ford/fordcobraconcept.html DamianLT1 01-06-2004, 12:16 PM Hmm I'll pass. RiceEating5.0 01-06-2004, 03:38 PM I think this car will make it to production as a GT replacement in 2006 or 2007. rlax31 01-06-2004, 06:43 PM Originally posted by DamianLT1 Hmm I'll pass. guess who 01-06-2004, 06:48 PM There is a dark blue version but it isnt up anymore. Here is a lighter blue version (http://www.creatingthelie.com/cars/cobra_blue.jpg) and a red one (http://www.creatingthelie.com/cars/cobra_red.jpg) :D StreamlineZ28 01-06-2004, 10:23 PM i just saw it on that new show RIDES with jason preistley and it looks and sounds pretty sweet Leedogg 96TA 01-06-2004, 10:51 PM It's OK but gonna be hard to top the original. RiceEating5.0 01-06-2004, 11:11 PM Originally posted by Leedogg 96TA It's OK but gonna be hard to top the original. I think a 605hp v10 tops it just fine;). That and i'm sure it handles and stops a heck of lot better. Performance wise, it should top it easily. IMPALA64 01-06-2004, 11:23 PM Originally posted by StreamlineZ28 i just saw it on that new show RIDES with jason preistley and it looks and sounds pretty sweet Just saw that too. What a cool car...and cool new show! Next weeks show looks good also. I think Ford did a good job on the new Cobra. That was awesome seeing Carol doin' a big ol' burnout in his new Cobra:D 2K1SunsetSS 01-07-2004, 12:10 AM That thing is so ugly. Ford will never learn, move forward not backwards. ponchoV8 01-07-2004, 12:23 AM I think it's a good evolution from the original, unlike the new Mustang which is a total ripoff of the '67-'68 model years. By the way it sounded on the show "Rides", at least they got that V10 to sound close to the 427 like in the original Cobra; unlike the Viper's V10 which sounds like a big V6. Ford will never learn, move forward not backwards. that statement might have been more effective if you had a toyota prius and not the good ole straight-axle,pushrod-V8 powered muscle car.:D JG/70Z 01-07-2004, 12:53 AM toight. JG/70Z 01-07-2004, 01:00 AM wait, I just finished watching Rides. It's not toight. It's a freaking badass machine. Looks awesome on video. guess who 01-07-2004, 04:33 PM Originally posted by 2K1SunsetSS That thing is so ugly. Ford will never learn, move forward not backwards. I see someone is mad that they wont have a Shelby Cobra in their driveway.:D I have to ask? What do you mean by "backwards"????????????? quick 01-07-2004, 08:37 PM Very cool. Capn Pete 01-07-2004, 09:57 PM This is only the 2nd FORD that I've ever liked!:p The first was the '67 Shelby GT500 in "Gone in 60 Seconds" and now this car:thumb: (hmm, it seems I like Carroll Shelby's taste? ). Anyways, I saw "Rides" as well last night, and watching them build the car from start to finish impressed me. Being honest, the actual appearance of the car is not great, but what's inside is what gets me;). Hell, the chassis is sexy! :D Seriously, all-aluminum, and then that V10 engine!:thumb: I mean, it's no Camaro, but I could probably be talked into it;) :p. | ||
