SCCA Autocross event 1/11

http://www.cfrsolo2.com/Flyers2004/f...%201-11-04.pdf

First SCCA event of the season at the Deland airport. Shouldn't be too much of a drive for us Orlando people.

Anyone going? I could definately use the practice. However, my tires probably think otherwise as they're still begging for mercy from last Saturday

I think I want to go... if I have the money. How much is it again?

If I do go we should try to get everyone to meet up somewhere before to drive out there, so if I do go where and when are we gonna meet up?

MSCC does allow ride alongs as long as you pay to race in the event. I had somebody in my car everytime I drove on the track giving me good advice.

this last month they said no ride around at the moment they had to check some paperwork, only ride arounds by 2 specified drivers, not drivers riding in other driver's cars like chuck in mine and mine in chuck's.... (I miss the 383 )

Either way not gonna make it... Friedn of mine at work has a big interview sat morning and we just switched so I am working the morning....

Besides my tranny mount is down, I just ordered a new one through GMpartsdirect.com

New insurance rules have forced MSCC to change their 'ride-along' policies. The only people allowed to be in the passenger seat during any official runs are predesignated driving instructors. We currently have 2. They can no longer drive your car while you ride along either. By themselves, yes. But you can't be there. The wierd thing is that we can still have guests (even if they didn't participate in the competition) ride along during fun runs as long as they sign the same release forms that all participants sign at the beginning of the day. Since 'fun runs' are usually the craziest runs of the day, it doesn't make much sense to me. But hey that's an insurance company for you.
