I'll give you both numbers. Remember, I live at 5,600 feet elevation.
Corrected was 456rwhp,
Uncorrected was 354rwhp at this altitude.
I was exspecting at least 380rwhp here which would correct out to around 500rwhp at sea-level. I'd be happy with 480. The motor is a 396 bored 40 over. Compression is 12.5.1, which at this altitude is more like 11.5.1 so I was told. The heads are AFR 210's ported be GTP which flow
.200--153.4/103.5
.300--209.1/157.9
.400--254.6/195.7
.450--269.6
.500--281.5/221.6
.550--291.8/227.6
.600--299.3/231.7
.650--306.0/233.6
.700--310.5/235.9
I did have them flow checked some where else and the numbers were close. The spec's on the cam which is a solid are
250/256@.050 lift is 644/614 on a 112ls. I was told I'd make better power with a different cam. GTP told me that the present cam would love NOS. As I'm not good with cam's I relie on others to help me there. I just did a leak down on the motor and the results were 3 to 5% at the most.
What would you guy's change if anything??? When I dyno'ed it was through a 9" and 28" slicks. I'm sure with the street tires on it would show a little more power but not near the amount that I'm looking for.
Thanks
Neal
