kcsoz20 01-04-2004, 04:48 AM Who else is getting hammered by this storm. Got at least 2 feet outside right now! Glad the Z28 is in the garage and the Z71 EC/SB is running good along with the Blazer!
Hope to post pics of snow around my new house tomorrow!

it isn't snowing where I am, but it is -10  This is friggin freezing. I saw a few f-bodys and a nice R/T Viper driving around in this weather. Shame on them. :shame: One was parked and all pilled up with snow all around it too. This is no way to treat a nice car. :(

-10 Celsius? That would be 12*f? We are still getting pounded here by snow and about 15* F.
Here comes winter! Global warming? What is that?

Ken [/B] How soon we forget the summer drought, the ruined crops, the rising oceons, the awesome heat and the water restrictions. I hate this cold weather and so does my bird, it wants me to drive it south for the winter, way south. :usa:
Pandamonkey 01-04-2004, 11:20 AM It is -12 C in Chilliwack this morning.
That's about 40 deg. to cold for me.
I'm heading up to Prince George again tomorrow, it was - 29 for a high there yesterday.
krazzycowgirl 01-04-2004, 12:49 PM Well Currently down by Olympia Wa (the state Capital) We have like a foot of this stuff (oh by the way its those Oregon guys to blame for this stuff it all started down there) Roads are Icey as heck .

CoryM 01-04-2004, 02:12 PM Well, Im trying to drive a camaro thats 3" off the ground. Not bad until you hit deeper snow and the whole underbody becomes a sled. Havent got stuck yet though. Main complaint is its got no friggin heater core!! Too cold.

mr00jimbo 01-04-2004, 02:21 PM All the side streets are literally just a big patch of ice. I went down one unaware, and I was sliding sideways down, inches away from parked cars  and thankfully stopped before I hit a really busy intersection.

OneFlyn95z28 01-05-2004, 07:38 AM We do not get much Snow here. 4-6 total with 4 still on the ground. Was freaking 12*F this morning and they are saying 5*F tonite with a huge storm coming tonite.
I am almost happy it is just staying cold at the moment. every time it warms up the stuff melts some then it feezes and we have even more ice.
we have not driven an F-Body in over a week and the Cab now has studd's on the front and a set of chains laying in the back ready to go on.
Nothing like a 60 Mile (98Km?) commute every day with all the crazies. I am used to it. like many here I grew up driving in the stuff and took my teast on Compact snow and Ice....Now the rest of the crazies around here how can barely drive in the rain scare the hell out of me!!
97TA-WS6-Con 01-05-2004, 02:44 PM I love the cold and snow. We only get it for a few days, it is not a big deal to deal with.
-11 degrees this AM coming in. We are suppose to get about 15 - 25 cms and then turn to rain and then rain for days :(
ShadowLord69 01-05-2004, 03:33 PM he he he it came up her and i decided in my brilliance to go snowmobiling, climbed out of it though but cold.
krazzycowgirl 01-05-2004, 05:00 PM anyone up for ICe Dragracing????
97TA-WS6-Con 01-07-2004, 12:44 PM Well if that was not the most anticipated, most anti-climatic winter storm ever.
sheesh.
I think we got maybe 8 - 10 cms of snow in Cloverdale where they almost guaranteed 30 cms.
However, I did get to go skating and play hockey on a frozen lake yesterday and that was was cool. Never done that before.
GreenZ28in503 01-08-2004, 03:49 AM From snow to ice here. Walked out of my house this morning and stood on my lawn. Not terribly out of the ordinary except that it wasn't the grounding holding me up. It was iced over snow. I spent about an hour chipping/smashing 2 inches of ice off the work van.
Spent about 30 mins doing brodies in the office parking lot with a guy I work with while we waited for the boss to show up. (We wanted our paychecks, all jobs canceled today).
Winter is fun. :)
Steve in Seattle 01-08-2004, 08:41 PM Snow's all melting here... about 6*C right now.
Next year's snow-mod plans.... (screw the 12-bolt upgrade ;p): http://www.mattracks.com/
Only catch is the 40 MPH limit... maybe we can work with them for a race version capable of 120 or so. ;)
Blizzak skinnies up front, Matttread out back... Imagine the 60' times!
93TAWicked1 01-08-2004, 10:11 PM Donny you got a job????? Man I need to give you a call!
I saw a black ss the other day in the snow
any one from here?
93TAWicked1 01-08-2004, 10:43 PM Your kidding? I drove the WS6 for about 10 minutes when it FIRST snowed (no gravel on the roads) just for fun. It hasn't been out of the garage in over a week! I drove the Jetta today and I was bottoming out all over the place and got stuck getting back into the garage. And I'm a "good" driver in snow I'm from Alaska! I couldn't imagine driving the F-body in this crap it. My 93 was bad in snow in Alaska but this is pure Ice!
thats what i was thinking too
he looked like he was moving along with no problems

Yeah, I install satellite TV and Internet, do custom home theater, mount plasma TVs etc. Basically I get to play with other peoples' high-dollar AV equipment and get paid for it. :) It's alot of fun and I did pretty well for myself last month for the Xmas season. Last few days I've been sitting on my ass though, kinda sucks.
(My Z is sitting in the driveway under about 2.5 inches of ice, with newly expired tags)
