Unofficial FLFB meeting @ NYI Raceway

Look's like a fair amount of pep's will be going to NYI on Friday the 21st! No formal meeting here, just anybody that wants to attend. I know that Jason Short and Droopy (Dave Cerio) are going for sure, I will be leaving for a roadcourse event that day, so won't be there.Any FLFB /WNYFA and anybody else are welcome to "Hang" look for our Guys and say Hello! Yhey are usually there around 5-6 pm

I wanna go too guys. I dont know how late I work on Fri though....what time do they go to? The latest I would work to would be 7pm.

Yeah, do any of the WNYFA guys want to go out for a joined club track date? I know Rich is always down for some racing.

I work at 11 at the airport so if I can get sleep before hand and make it back in time for work I may try to go. Short on cash since I have not been paid in like 4 weeks since the companies switched over and we started with the new one at the end of the pay period. Rumor has it may change again.

well, i am coming out with a buddy of mine, craig, and we are meeting up with another guy on the thruway...so there will be 3 of us, getting to NYI around 430-5

i really dont wanna stay late, but it all depends on the number of runs i get.

i wont make breakfast, i have too many things to do, and btw jason, julie isnt gonna make it out...

i also noticed, that noone from wny area is planning on coming except for matt.
well, hopefully a few more will make it

How late does the racing go too. I work till 7-8pm depending on business. Is that too late to make it down in time? I only want to get a few runs in anyway.

If you gte out at 7pm you would not get to the track until at least 8pm so you would have at most 2hrs. It will end at 9 or 10pm.

it was a good time...too hot and humid to get any decent times...
i got a new personal best on mph 116.00, but
my clutch can not handle the juice anymore http://web.camaross.com/bb/mad.gif slipping all over the joint...but the mcloud is on the way, so dont worry, i will be all good

best run was 12.991@116 with a 2.330 60 ft and no wheel spin &lt;------ surprised the clutch held up that much, but atleast it slipped in all gears and didnt explode!

but, there really wasnt anything to impressive out there....ls1's running no better than 13.6 expect for one trans am on nitrous, but he still got the taillight treatment http://web.camaross.com/bb/wink.gif

Hey I was there and ran a 13.13 @ 106.92. You must have missed me. Was a great day though, too bad I now need a new clutch! Any suggestions on a good clutch?

I was about to go out but didnt want to get there and have a rainout. Did it rain at all there?? Right before I was going to leave I checked the Weather channel and there was a big blob of green around Buffalo. I will be there next time. Im itching to get down there soon.

I brought the camaro to the track last night and and ran a 13.91 @101mph. Not too bad for just intake and exhaust.
