Hey guys, buddy of mine has his guitar stolen from his truck in the burnaby area. Worst thing is he built it from scratch and put a lot of effort into it. I know some of you guys are into music so please keep your eyes open. The guitar means as much to him as your cars do to you :( . If you do happen to see it please contact me or the burnaby rcmp. Me is a better bet though.
Thanks CoryM

ATTN: Any Greater Vancouver area residents my truck was broken into on Christmas day at my mother's house in
Burnaby, BC. I know its a longshot but I simply have to leave no
stone unturned. My hand made all mahogany solidbody guitar was taken
by some slimy ratbastard. I already filed a report with the Burnaby
RCMP and have contacted numerous pawnshops in the Greater Vancouver
area. Here is a link to pictures of the guitar:

http://pictures.care2.com/view/1/158054871

And here are the specs:

All Honduras mahogany neckthrough
Double cutaway body style
Heavy polyurethane clearcoat
Grover mini-tuners
Schaller roller bridge (tune-o-matic)
4 degree neck angle
2 - Golden Age overwound humbuckers - black (12 Kohm)
StewMac Bi-flex "Hotrod" truss rod
Stainless steel pickguard
strat-style plugin with black plastic retaining ring on centerline of
body
Arrow shaped headstock w/ staggered tuners
3- 500K pots (2 vol. and 1 tone) .047 ufarad capacitor
Black Ice Overdrive capacitor mounted on 250K pot
Rosewood fretboard - 24 3/4 scale
Medium jumbo frets
Black plastic plate on the back with black silicon around the edges.

The guitar has no serial number as such, since it was constructed from
scratch by myself, but upon removal of the backing plate you will see
my name "ALAN GENDRON" stamped into the wood. If anyone happens to
spot this guitar PLEASE contact me.

Ive got a list of places that are known to buy stolen goods. Gonna stop in them every week or 2 for a while. I feel really badly for the guy. The guitar was his baby. He had just finished it and had taken it with him to his moms because she wanted to see it. Thats where it got stolen.
Bastards.
