Wheel spacers for 17 inchers

I have an '89. I want to install a set of '02 SS 10-spoke wheels. What size spacers do I need and where can I buy the spacers. Also, will the factory 275R40ZR tires work without rubbing. My car has a 1.8" drop with Eibach springs. Please gimme some info, fellow Camaro/Firebird enthusiasts!!

You will need a 2" spacer from www.skulte.com

The tires will most likely rub at full lock. Even the stock 245/50/16's do that on occasion.

I got my spacers from the website Jaysz28 mentioned above. I'm running 275/40r17 all the way around with a 1" drop and no rubbing at all, even at full lock.

if you can wait it's best to measure yourself. you could get a custom cut adapter from andris and have the wheels perfect. what width are the stock ss rims?

i do know that a 9.5"rim witha proper 275 width tire will be trouble with a true 1.8" drop from stock height. if your measuring a 1.8" drop from your initial worn springs that you replaced your really going to have issues with rubbing with that wide of a tire and that low of a drop using a 2" spacer. if you can wait and measure the exact backspacing to the proper size you will have no fitment issues.

4.75 is the most amount of backspacing you'll want to run with your fronts and have as low of a drop as your claiming with no issues. this will also keep your rubber inside the wells. everyone measures and claims their rims fit in but often times the rubber itself is sticking out slightly which causes a need for rolling the outer fender lip or raising your car back up.

alot of these issues are a big reason why i dropped my z06 rims and went with a custom wheel. good luck.

I was wrong about that meaurement. The front is a 1.6" drop, the back a 1.3" drop. That's the sport-line Eibach spring kit that I ordered and had installed. Thanks for the additional info.
