Remote Start

Thinking about getting a remote start for the car, Chicago winter is finally here. Anyone know how much they cost? Any recommendations of any specific brand/model, etc? What about installation, any one know what places charge? Thanks for the help.

Have an automatic or stick? What year is it? Probably looking around $170-$250 installed. If your key has a chip in it, you need to buy a relay and some resistors.

yeah first question would be do you have a automatic or manual trans? most places wont do remote start on manual trans. as for the price are you looking for just a remote start or an alarm w/ remote start? most places such as retail stores like best buy the price you see of the tag includes basic installation, but they will charge extra if you need to install a bypass module.
