Beat a 2004 Saleen!

I was coming home from Xmas shoping and what do I see up ahead? A 2004 Red Saleen with paper tags still on it! I pulled up next to him at about 70 mph and I heard him hit it so I droped into 3rd and punched it...barely pulled then shifted into 4th and just started walking nicely!!! I bet that kid wanted to return that car after that! His 35k+ rustang just got beat by a 10 year old T/A!!! Haha....poor kid!

Man, you dropped him one nasty Christmas Present.

Nice kill. I almost feel bad for the guy considering it's Chistmas and all. It was probably a Xmas gift to himself.

nice kill.

i raced a saleen vert once in sf from a 40 mph roll. he pulled me for a second (damn a4 second gear), but i blasted past him at the top of my second like he had hit the brakes. when we got to the next light, he didn't want to go from the dig.

Haha, that's a awesome kill.

Aren't those things really fast though, was it possibly a GT with the saleen body kit? (every "saleen" i've seen has been just a GT with the body kit)

It was probably just a normal saleen. The supercharged ones come with like 365hp and 400tq stock.NA is just 285hp 315tq.Same with the roush. Most ones on the road i see are just the cheap models.

Yeah a majority I've seen on the roads are just the "appearance" package Saleens with a slight increase in HP.

Some owners don't even know what they drive.Me and my friend in his 2000 z28 drove up to some older guy driving a saleen. My friend said "nice car",and the guy replied "435hp".So the guy punches it and my friend does too after he notices, and after a few seconds we just fly by him.The guy took a turn and drove away.

I hope that was while you were here in town - I'm sure he won't think twice about my boat

There's another Mustang, a white convertible, that revs the damn thing constantly while driving. I will hopefully find him too.

Oh, and last week my Grand Marquis turned a 9.9 @ 73 in 1/8th so it can now terrorize the ricers - LOL.

Exactly.

Different strokes for different folks.

I could always say my na 4 cylinder would be a good match for your roc.
