Ford Shelby.

We'll see a Shelby concept in a week and a half at the NAIAS.

It'll have a V10....and be a Shelby-ized version of the GT (GT-40 not Mustang).

Charlie, you got skills.

Shall I go dig out an old post about "KR"'s or "Shelby 427"?

I have heard a couple names dropped, you heard anything solid?

Dayum, I wish I could get to the show... No chance for me this year though.

Oh yeah, and you thought $ for the GT was bad at $150k...

I'm still not hearing if this car is actually going to see production, or if it will just be a "teaser" to announce the upcoming Ford/Shelby products. Knowing no more than I do at this point, it's a 50/50 split, and press hype and public reaction could sway the decision.

That's all I know. I wonder if the V10 will displace 5.8L or 7.0L?

Charlie, I think you are the guy that made the post about the "second 427" a couple weeks ago.

I think you just found it... again.

It won't be called 7-Litre, Ford already used that one, and it wasn't on a Shelby... see here.

Well for one...clues are all over the internet.

ASC has already announced that it will have a Shelby vehicle at NAIAS.

The NAIAS site lists an unamed "Ford car" under 2004 vehicle introductions.....Concept Cars.

And there is that thing about the "second" 7.0L V10 floating around.

And there's more......

I hope I'm right....I see you've linked this thread to BON,

Makes sense.

And yes, I linked this thread to BON. Pretty interesting news so I'd thought I'd share. Plus, after the mustang pics were released its been kind of slow. Counting days till NAIAS.
