custom exhaust

when i get my 88 on the road i want some good exhaust obviously, how much would an exhaust shop charge me for full 3 inch - headers,cat and muffler (i will supply them)? i just need a ballpark estimate

I assume you mean a 3" single with a transverse muffler, about $120-175 around here..

Years ago I was quoted anywhere from $550 to $700 labor to install my supplied headers, converter, and cat back. I got so disgusted that I tackled the job myself. I learned a lot :)

many factors in that area. my old 3" setup cost me 950 included everything. i later sold it for 350 because i couldn't get rid of it.

my new 4" cost me 2200.
