Any ideas are welcome :D ucnu112 12-24-2003, 12:01 AM I can't get that link to work. fred AdioSS 12-24-2003, 01:53 AM lemme try something... AdioSS 12-24-2003, 01:57 AM Arg, direct linking to it wont work. PM me your email address and I'll send you the picture I've got of it. :o ucnu112 12-24-2003, 02:46 AM Original Rehosted (http://www.fredstrohm.com/cz28/impalafest2003.jpg) I'm going to bed, I'll work on this tomorrow:)... thought I'd put it out there should anyone else want to give it a shot. :thumb: Fred AdioSS 12-24-2003, 02:56 AM a world of thankSS to you! :D jy211 12-24-2003, 08:18 AM keep it original and maybe add some ghost SS stripes...or do them in black cherry..... pu12en12g 12-24-2003, 08:51 AM I would do new wheels before doing new paint. The paint already looks good. notstock4long 12-24-2003, 12:06 PM Yeah, the paint looks pretty nice, but I would get some different wheels:cool: AdioSS 12-24-2003, 02:53 PM the paint does not look good! The only reasons it looks decent is because I had JakeF ZAINO it the day before and it's a relatively low resolution picture. The front bumper is scratched and cracked, the hood has small scratches and dents, both front fenders have dents, all 4 doors have dents (some past the paint), the roof is chipped from rocks, both rear quarter panels have major damage, and even the rear bumper is scratched  So most of the body needs to be repainted anyway, I just figure it would be a good time to do something a little different. And I happen to like Weld Draglites. I'm considering selling the SS rims to get 17" draglite XPs though. stang_killa94 12-24-2003, 02:58 PM with all that damage you're looking at ALOT more than just a paintjob.......its gonna need a ton of body work. AdioSS 12-24-2003, 03:06 PM I know that :( But since it needs so much bodywork, I might as well do something different with the paint :D kcamaro6 12-25-2003, 01:23 PM Just wondering, is that a corvette emblem on the side of your car? AdioSS 12-25-2003, 01:41 PM yup, from the 97-04 Corvette. It's common to put "crossed flags" emblems on the front fenders, but I wanted Vette flags. I don't care for the LT1 Vette emblems though. I'll probably put C6 emblems on as soon as they are available :D TheV6Bird 12-26-2003, 04:31 PM SOM would look killer on that car AdioSS 12-26-2003, 04:59 PM Here was my plan. I've got 2 B-bodies. This 96 impala SS and my 91 civi Caprice. I was going to do stripes or something on the SS, then later do the exact opposite on the Caprice. Say, black with hugger organge stripes on the SS, then hugger orange with black stripes on the Caprice. 93Z286Speed 12-27-2003, 11:10 AM Bird i was thinking the EXACT same thing! SOM would be awesome! or I think NBM with Silver Stripes might not be bad Or just Straight NBM SloTexanTA 12-27-2003, 02:58 PM Originally posted by TheV6Bird SOM would look killer on that car I saw a '96 Impala the other day painted SOM. I must say it was an attention getter, but that is alot of car that already gets a good amount of attention. At first it looked all kinds of wrong, but then when I really got a good look at it, the color actually started to look pretty good. That's the reaction most people will probably have, so I have to say that the NBM would look better than the SOM simply because it won't be such a dramatic look. But thats just my opinion :D .
