While overall Im very impressed with the new C6 vette, I am however, a little dispointed with the interior. While the interior is far better the C5 I cant believe the automatic shift-**** is the same as a 1993 Camaro. I would think they could come up with something cooler then that by now.

I also don't care for the Corvette name being on the bottom right hand side the rear bumper, but Im just being overly critical at this point.

Regardless, the new Vette is awsome and I can't wait to see it in person at the LA Auto show on the 10th of Jan.

I like how they say a "performance" model will come out soon.

As if the Corvette wasn't a performance model in its base form, gotta love it GM!

What you guys missed is what appears to be a factory aluminum 4 inch bore LSx... 6.0, aluminum...Article mentions increased bore size...

It's freakin awesome IMO. However the final car at a glance doesn't look quite as dramatic a design change as I figured it would be. But hey, the C5 was a great car, alot of the changes are small and hard to notice but I guess when you add them up with the more easily noticed stuff it is a decently big change. However, the performance is truly going to be world class. Should be damn near current-Z06 performance in the freakin base model... Would be nice if the new Z06 is at least a older Viper GTS killer if not able to take out the new 500hp Viper...

I noticed that too! I thought the Vette already was a performance model!

I love the look of the back end, much better than the C5. Love the circle tail lights. Interior looks good but I don't know if I like the large flat area in front of the passenger. The gauge cluster looks pretty close to the current C5 too. I also noticed that the front end looks a lot like the C5 "Tiger Shark" concept that GM put out a year or two ago. I am sure that is not a coincidence. I think together, all the pictures cover it.............good stuff.

Still not a fan of the front end.... on a Corvette.

I also am not crazy about the subtle "teeth" in the grille you can see in that one shot... looks kind of like my Monte Carlo's lower grille.

I like the rear alot. I like the profile... I like the top-down view.

The interior is... well... OK... not as dramatic as the C5, IMO, but it's hard to get a feel for it as much as the exterior.

I'm surprised they didn't do more to make the LS2 look a little more different than the LS1 also.. obviously engine appearance is down the list as far as priorities go, but on a car where the motor is so much, you'd think it would be addresed, especially since this is considered a "Gen IV" motor...

Sweet!

I also thought the grill could be better though. Oh well, the aftermarket can take care of that in short order!

this will take some time to grow on me....I'm hating the grill, and outside of the steering wheel, the interior has the same basic layout as the C5...

This almost makes me wonder about the first C6 design that got scrapped...Do you all remember the story (I don't know if it was confirmed or not) that when Lutz first started at GM, a designer handed him the plans saying it was the future new C6...To which lutz responded "No it's not."

Of course on my scale, the more it performs, the better it looks.

Well, the front end does absolutely nothing for me. The interior isn't as nice as I was expecting. Somehow that area around the B-pillar where that character crease, door handle and fuel filler door meet....just looks like an unresolved detail to me.

I hope I feel better when I see it in person....but the more I study the photos....the more disappointed I feel.

Also, I was hoping that they would have "cleaned" up the look of the LS2....so that it wouldn't need the "beauty covers".

I'm sure it's performance is awesome......but it's looks are disappointing me.

BTW...anyone notice the Malibu steering wheel?
