FS: 17' Rinkerbuilt 90.0hp Merc Ski Boat

unknown date and origin, I took it in on trade about 2 years ago, put it in the water half a dozen times but just have no time for it and my girlfriend doesn't like water so....it's just been sitting for over a year now. It is a Rinkerbuilt shell that seems to have been restored in the last 10 year some time. Motor is a fairly strong 90.0 horse power Mercury. has two front to back seats (thus seating 4) than both fold down into benches, one seat new in 2002.

Accepting any reasonable offer. I was laid off Nov 11 and need to pay some bills. I am located in Grand Rapids, MI (49508)

I would accept somewhere between $900 and $1500....I primarily need it gone. Was recently laid off, girlfriend hates it, and I just plain don't use it anyway so if someone else wants to love it like I did 2 years ago more power to you... it'll make me happy

Is the deck rotted or soft in any places?

fiberglassed plywood largely looked good to me when I cleaned the carpet

Is the transom in good shape? any cracks? softness?

transom is like 1 1/2" thick plywood starting to seperate a little at the top but largely sound

When was the last time the impeller in the motor was replaced?

Impeller? I put maybe 12 hours on the water. I don't know the history before I got it and I didn't do anything so....

How easily does the boat get up on plane? time to plane?

I take it that boat has cable steering, do the cables bind up at all?

smooth steering in my opinion....better than my Bronco or 73 VW :)

Does the boat sit level in the water?

level left to right....nose is higher than rear

Any leaks or cracks in the fiberglass?

fiberglass looked good to me....was repainted a few years before I acquired it...I was told it was a complete build up from a bare shell in the early 90s

I'm no boating genious...I just used it for a little fun.... only time I pulled a skier I got a 250 pound guy up pretty quick...that was maybe half hour...the rest was just spinning around the lake....

up! still for sale...was thinking $1100 drives away with it?....
