I am looking to get a water pump, non-electrical, to put on my new motor. This motor contains a few horsies and I need something that will keep up-any suggestions out there on what to go with? What to stay away from? I am running my rebuilt 305 out of my 1992 Z28, but with a few added things to it-Thanks in advance!

Stay away from the bargain auto parts store rebuilt junk. Get a Moroso, Edelbrock, Weiand or other performance pumps. I use a FlowKooler unit, it works very well but is cast iron. These are precision units and some are even flow matched for equal flow on each side of the block and are aluminum for engines on a diet.:D :D

"Jegs"carries their own brand High Output pump that looks good and priced reasonable...

:metal: By far the best. Their Stage 2 pump is THE choice for street/strip performance.
