Finishing clutch install, a few questions ASAP!

I have a new rear main seal but wanted to double check on installing it. Can I just pry out the old one and then smack the new one in with a piece of wood or something?

What is the trick again for removing the pilot bushing? *yes mine has a buching in it.

Is there anything special I need to do with the clutch fork, it seams straight forward.

Other than that I assume its just align everything, bolt it up, bolt on the bellhousing and then bolt on the tranny. Let me know if I am missing anything guys.

There are 2 ways to get the pilot bushing out. There is a tool made for that, no idea how much. But i know most places wont have it. OR, pack the space behind and in the middle of the bearing with grease. Then take the input shaft and give it a hit, the hydrolic pressure should pop the bearing out. You can end up with some greese in the face though.

Make sure the rod dosnt come out of the bore on your slave cylinder, your pedal will Never feel the same unless you replace it.

Another way to get out the pilot bearing is to pack wet toilet paper inside the bearing and use either a 3/8 or a 1/2 inch ratchet extention (I can't remember which) and keep packing it in till it pops out.
