getting a week off like that is nice. what kind of hours do you work during the 4 weeks?

ive been working for a month or maby a month and a half now. I like it.
its just normal 8-5 (or 7-4 or whatever you want really). its very laid back and a nice work place. i will be going offshore in september with my project.
when offshore you get an extra 100 bucks a day and if your out over weekends you get to add those days to your vacation time.

what im doing is basicly project management. im putting togeather the instilation manual for the project and working with other companies (FMC, weatherford, KerrMcGee, J P Kenny, OPE, etc)

there are alot of other aggies with these other companies. I held a meetign the other week and there were 8-10 people there and half were aggies.

i've met a lot of aggies in the petroleum business with my internship this summer.

I work a 5 week rotation. 12 hour days (kinda sucks, but not too bad). One bad week = 3 days/1 off/3 nights. 2 more are 4 days one and 4 nights the other. Then a normal 7-3/m-f week. Then week off! :) The 12 hour days are offset by the fact that we work 4 days. So after all is added up we work an avg of 41 or so hours/wk.

Man that was rough to write out. Good luck figuring it out.:cool:

Your job sounds pretty badass. Getting to go out and see a bunch of stuff and also meeting a lot of different people. Congrats.

Yeah, apparently its some annex of the chemistry building. Luckily they had a sign outside, otherwise I wouldn't have known where to go. I'm repping geology 404 in there. Yes, I lived at the Tradition. It's not too bad, and probably a good place for a freshman. I didn't agree with some of the management, and the food got pretty ****ty a few weeks after school started. Holla at a brotha when you come down.

It's technically off-campus dorms, so there won't be many upper-classmen living there. There are separate rooms, but no kitchens. They also have a cafeteria with meal plans.

I'll give you a call when I get around there. I'm not bringing the 'maro though, I've driven it twice in the last month and a half! I need to do some maintenance things before I cruise around in it much more.

We did have a good thing going at the new krogers on William J Bryan and Hwy 6 on wednesdays but it ended up getting too big and we got kicked out thanks to a few idiots. Right now the wednesday night meets are being held temporarily at the new autozone and tractor supply company on texas avenue and 2818.

Friday night meets are still being held at Rudy's and Sonic off of harvey rd starting around 10pm. Wednesdays start about 8pm.

raymond was a short (but built) black guy in a red ls1 TA. Ed was an older guy in an older z28 (2nd gen maybe) Ed owns an automovie place in bryan now.

and yah glen used to have a stock motor with stall, lid, and blowmaster and nitrous of course. Then he put a cam in it and ported his heads along with headers and few bolt ons. He spun a rod bearing at Sealy about 3 months ago and went with a 408 with the L92/L76 combo along with the nitrous.

And yes he did have a very attractive daughter. Last time i saw her driving something it was a green LT1 with a cam. But i have heard him talk about the anniversary SS before so maybe?
