I drive the 30th aniversary edition car. I bought it from Tom Light and they buffed the hugger orange stripes off before I could buy it. They thought it looked like longhorn colors, and that's the reason it didn't sell. Everything else is the same except for the mods in my sig. I'm probably the only 30th car without the stripes in TX.

yah i honestly didn't know about this site until about 3 weeks ago! I am on LS1tech.com constantly! But i knew there was a lot more people around b/cs with F-body cars than just the people on LS1tech. So i found this website and figured i would try it out! I like it so far.

If anyone here doesn't know we meet every wednesday night @ Hastings in bryan on texas & villa maria. People start showing up around 7:30-8pm. Then we meet @ sonic on harvey from about 9:30 or 10pm to whenever. Swing by sometime to add to the american muscle population!

This site has it's definite advantages. The LT1 tech section is awesome for help. The lounge is always alive too. I'd have to say IMO the range of people in here is far greater than on LS1TECH, but that site is pretty damn good too. ESPECIALLY for LSX's, but whooda thunk it?:p

damn! I missed the anniversary! I remember when this thing started, was just like yesterday!:D

I finished my take home final this morning at 6 am. Spent 23 hours on it, 21 pages of calculations. Man I want to throw something!:barf: :yuck: :tired: But, that is basically the last thing for me and my college career, my other 3 finals are cake! AWESOME!:cool:

That sounds like a crazy amount of money starting out. If you do end up with that congratulations! I'm not making that much, although I'm also not sure what you'd actually be doing? I'm working for an energy trading company, kinda like a middle man between the power plants and the Texas power grid. The job right now isn't the most technical, but it moves places pretty quick. And the money is right on the average of our department's starting pay.

Yeah I talked to some oil companies too. Some offered $100k after 3 years of work, but the work was way out of my range of acceptable hours and schedules. I know about the 6 month a year one. Is that the rig supervisor? I actually considered talking to them about that one (ExxonMobil).

It's going well. I'm on my week off. I work 4 weeks and get the 5th totally off. I approve! I'm moving into a house starting tomorrow. I'm getting really tired of the parents' place. My friend and I are renting his aunt's house, 3 bdrm, 2 car garage, big backyard with a covered patio for $700/mth total. In a pretty good neighborhood too. I'm excited. Finally be out on my own for good!
