Any vendors carry these? I found an online store that sells a package (Scat 9000, 5.7 I-beams, Forged Pistons, Balanced) for $800. Can any vendor here beat that? Thanks

Thanks -Corey >That sounds kinda cheap , and remember you get what you pay for . I got my stroker kit from Combination Motorsports and it a real nice package ... deal that is ;) . Black6SpdTA 12-24-2003, 05:56 PM Race-Prep: I looked through your website but didn't see any prices. I'm interested in a few things: Scat 9000 3.48" 1pc RMS PM Rods Forged or Hyper Pistons How much will that be, fully balanced? Thanks -Corey NOTE: I'm going 355 now. Black6SpdTA 12-26-2003, 05:55 PM Ok fellas, I found a new combo :) Scat 9000 Scat I-Beams TWR Hyper Pistons $539--All brand new, from a reputable internet company. *Same kit with TRW Forged Pistons is $659 Any vendors match/beat it? -Corey RdRacerZ28 12-27-2003, 11:19 AM Why not use stuff made in the USA? THat overseas stuff takes quite a bit to balance, the journals are wavy, and you get what you pay for. A Cast crank isn't a good idea with a longer stroke and more power. Check out the Callies Dragon slayer or possibly the Trick Flow cranks. They are much nicer quality and people with jobs here in our country made them. Totally personal opinon/preferance, but something to look into possibly. | ||
