I purchased a 69 Camaro with a freshly rebuilt 454 in it. Actually it was some guys frame off restoration project that never was finished. Any way, the engine was originally out of a 74' station wagon. It has oval port 049 heads which I know are good. New valve job and the like. Victor jr. manifold. 850 Mighty Deamon carb. KB Silv-O-Lite 9.0:1 pistons. Refurb rods and crank. I am assuming it is a two bolt. And professional machine work. Oh yes, we can't forget the Wolverine Blue Racer cam. 230/230 .558 108. And all of the other nick nacks. That is about all I can get from the build sheet. I don't think it even has 200 miles on it. I am just not a big block man. It will take lots of money to get the engine to where I want it. So my question is what is it worth?

I'll give you $200 for it and drive down there to pick it up from PA :)

The 'Dark Side' is calling me....need a spare motor if I can get decent deal on it.

sounds to me like its ready to go .. lota torque in those big blocks .. "horse power sells motors, torque wins races" .. all complete w/carb headers and all i'd say the guy has 5 grand in it .. thats what i have in a similar BBC ..

Thanks for the replies. I don't think I will will be selling it for $200. But I will keep you in mind. So asking for a thousand wouldn't be crazy then?

I am going to try to use it as a bardering tool. I figured it would be worth about that. I want a big inch small block with 18* heads and a turbo. But that is a long way off. Thanks for the reply.
