I've only ever used my Zaino is the summer so far... but now it's winter.. it's actualy -10 outside (celcius of course.. so thats what 14 *F?) anyways... is there any negative effects to using Zaino is this kind of temperatures beside it will probably take forever to dry? Right now the suns out and I'm thinking I'll bare the cold to get a good coat on. Thanks

I have never applied it lower than 32F , since you are taking it to the extreme, I really do not know. You might want to email Sal, I would think that the polish might freeze solid at 14 or 15 degrees.

Well... I waxed her up already.. :D No problems what so ever. Well.. actualy, now that I think of it.. the last bit of wax that I was rubbing off seemed to be slightly harder.. not much though. Just took a little extra pressure. And I also sprayed on the Z6 afterwards.. was a little tricky because if I put too much on at once.. it very, very quickly froze/dried right up. So I just took a little extra time.

Zaino = The best :cool:

I know someone that had it freeze on their car, it was a mess and had to be washed off several times to remove it, if you had no problems you were lucky.

hmmm... how long did he let it dry for? And how cold was it?? It was -10 but the sun was out.. so through out the day it probably got up to -5 and was even warmer in the sunlight directly. Maybe that helped.. but I didn't let it sit too long... 20min maybe. And nothing froze at all.. not as easy to take of as it is during the summer of course but not by much though...

If you were in sunlight that helped warm up the body a little. Personally, I'd recommend staying on the 32*+ side just to be sure AND use the ZFX to help the drying due to the lower temperatures.

Trevor I don't think it's a good idea unless you drive your car through the winter. :no: My hawk is off the road for the winter in my garage. I open the door into the house connecting the garage to warm it up before I apply zaino. Just my opinion from a fellow canuck. :thumb:

I'll pay the extra few bucks hydro no problem. BC has one of the lowest hydro rates in North America and there hasn't been an increase in ten years but they want one now. :shock:

I think 20* F is about as cold as I've ever applied Zaino. If I recall, it took nearly an hour to dry.
