How to get caked on brake dust off??
Get some detail-grade wheel acid...spray on, maybe scrub a lil in the really bad places with a toothbrush, and rinse off.
Otherwise, liquid dish soap and water, a scrub brush, and as much energy as your hands and arms will muster forth
