Random Technology Dual Cat Y Pipe for 96/97 LT1 Cars

I went to Jet Hot Longtubes this weekend and pulled off my Y pipe. It is 2 1/2" diameter on each side of the Y going into 2 3/4" to mate up to the stock intermediate pipe. It bolts to stock manifolds and has two high flow Random Techonology bullet catalytic converters in good working order. I will include rear O2 sensors. Bolts up using all stock hardware. I had absolutely no fitment problems.

This pipe relocates the JUG style drivers side cat down under to the passenger side floorboard in a much more space efficient design. Makes plug changes so much easier and reduces clutter near the drivers side K member. I picked up a solid 1.4mph in the 1/4 mile by switching to this Y pipe over the stock dual cat Y pipe. This was the original aftermarket Y pipe for 96+ LT1 F-Bodies. Stainless works now makes offroad Y pipes, but I chose this pipe because I wanted to retain cats and not purchase O2 sims. This is a perfect direct bolton for any 96/97 car with stock manifolds that is not going to be having headers really soon. This pipe is aluminized and I had it for approximately one year, and it is still in great shape. One of the ball flange joints is showing surface rust but the pipes themselves are all in good shape. The heat shields on the cats are also showing surface rust. I promise it will have no leaks whatsoever.

I paid $550 for this pipe new, plus o2 sensor extensions. It still costs that new. I am asking for $250.

Would this fit if using SLP shorties. They hook up to my stock exhaust so this should fit right?

If you have the stock 97 Y pipe these will absolutely fit. I was using these on my stock 97 Manifolds until I went to Longtubes and had no trouble with it.

You can see the light 'surface rust' I guess you might call it on the cat heat shields. I think its more of like a tarnish, it doesn't feel like rust to me.

This is the best shot I could get of the one catalyst you can see when you point a mag light down the tube. Man, talk about playing with the focal length and exposure time and flash mode on my camera for half an hour, lol. This is the best I could get without it being a muddy blurry mess. The catalyst is in good condition with no deterioration, and the cats set no low efficiency codes so I know they work.

They look good. I will have to see if she will let me part with $250. Could you go as low as $200? If so that would be a lot better to sale to her for me.

I really don't want to go down much on the price since I need the cash to pay for my Longtube Y Pipe but I could do $225 if you could convince her of that number.
